Rex for Super Smash Bros Ultimate *Pyra Version*

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 did amazingly well in sales on the Switch. So in all honesty Rex has a good chance on being on Smash Switch

Do I think with the inclusion of Rex and Pyra/Mythra will Shulk be removed. Absolutely NOT! With Rex's fighting style I'm pretty sure Sakurai and the developers can make their movesets completely different from each other. And I think Shulk will be the "Marth"of the Xenoblade Chronicles series. Shulk will be the main representor of the Xenoblade Chronicles series, making the series known to people who haven't heard of it and as Smash continues. Characters from Xenoblade Chronicles series will be added to Smash, getting their games known, bringing more recognition to the series

I've seen people commenting they rather NOT have Rex, they just want Pyra/Mythra and I understand where they're coming from, the cutscenes and some of the gameplay in Xenoblade Chronicles 2 show that Pyra/Mythra can wield their own swords they can do fights without Rex with all the power they have.
And of course more female Smashers
Again I understand those reasons, but I personally it would feel weird to me. Rex and Pyra/Mythra do a large majority of their fighting TOGETHER. And in Smash for Switch, they should also TOGETHER. Think of them as the Ice Climbers. You can't have Popo without Nana. But it makes you question will the girls be fighting with Rex on Stage or be in the background giving an Aether Flow to Rex and step in now and then to help Rex out

Sword Bash, Double Spinning Edge and Rolling Smash can be easily implemented to Smash Special Attacks. And Anchor Shot can be his recovery Up Smash similar to Olimar's Pikmin Chain in Brawl or Ancho Shot can be used as Rex's grab or ledge grab like Link's Hookshot.

But even having both Pyra and Mythra, what exactly can they do different in regards to Rex's Arts since they both share it? How exactly Sakurai and the development team are going to make players care about switching from Pyra to Mythra and visa versa. What are they going to do differently if we either want Pyra's Fire Attacks and Mythra's Light Attacks?
I was thinking along the lines of Little Mac's KO Bar. There will be a little diamond on Rex and Pyra/Mythra's damage box, the longer Rex fights over time the Roman Numerical will change from "*blank*, I, II, III and IV" all in reference of Pyra's Specials they can do in Xenoblade 2
*Blank* of course means you can't do any specials
I - Flame Nova
II - Prominence Revolt
III - Blazing End
IV - Burning Sword
And of course the larger the number, the more damage you do to your enemies

For their Final Smash. Maybe they can summon Ophion to do a Final Smash similar to Lucario's Aura Storm in Brawl. Or maybe she can change into her Pneuma form for a temporary boost of attacks like Giga Mac, Mega Lucario and Mega Charizard X. Or have Pyra/Mythra change into Pneuma and she can be in Artifice Aion for a brief period of time, being in the background while she sends attacks on the stage

I'm NOT planning to take any requests FOR NOW. My work life is kind of hectic right now and I want to the characters I would like to do first. So after I do the characters I want to do and if I'm feeling bored and have any free time from my work afterwards I might take some requests. I mean feel free to leave requests, but don't expect them to be fulfilled.

After seeing E3 last week and with the announcement of Super Smash Bros Ultimate, I edited this pic a bit.

Also mentioning E3, with the announcement of the Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna the Golden Country, expasision pass. IF Rex and Pyra make it into Smash, would you like Addam to be an alternate costume for Rex, like Bowser Jr and the Koopalings and Olimar and Alph. Example Rex and Pyra are the default costume and you can choose Addam and Mythra as alternate costumes as alt costumes. But it would be tricky changing Pyra's fire attacks to Light, so would you prefer Mythra and Addam to be Rex and Pyra's Echo Fighter? What do you think
